Welcome to The Fur Traders' home on the web. For those of you who do not yet know us, we invite you to check out our ever evolving website and whenever you have a chance, visit beautiful Nevada City, CA and stop into any of our three stores located on Broad Street to say hello.
Some of you may know Marjie and Barry Costello from their previous locations in Colorado, Wyoming, and Tahoe, CA. Marjie and Barry brought The Fur Traders to Nevada City over 25 years ago and have offered premium fur, leather, and sheepskin (our specialty) products in their stores since. In addition to carrying many top brands, Marjie and Barry continue to manufacture numerous time tested products under the The Fur Traders' name. If you aren't already an addicted user, try them and you will be! Check out the famous Nevada City Slipper or our Sierra Sheepskin Boot (just two examples!).
Nevada City is located about an hour west of Lake Tahoe at approximately 2500 feet of elevation in the Motherlode, or Gold Rush, region of California.
So, please visit us at one of our shopping centers in beautiful downtown Nevada City, CA and stay for the beautiful area, Victorian houses, historic mines, and outdoor activities.

All orders selected for "In Store Pick Up" will be available for pickup at our main store at 233 Broad Street, Nevada City, CA.
We do not currently ship to any international addresses.
